Seasonal Unemployment :1 Council Members Still Debating Whether
Council members in Peterborough are still debating whether or not the city’s seasonal patios should have longer insurance.
On Monday, city council members decided to delay making a decision on whether to mandate that downtown eateries, cafes, and bars obtain $5 million in liability insurance coverage for seasonal patios, as opposed to the $2 million currently required.
Councilman Alex Bierk stated that he wanted to take his time learning how other local governments handle risk.
