In the Florida insurance industry, Caton- Hosey and Brown & Brown have roots that date back to 1948, when Caton Insurance was established in Volusia County.
For the entirety of the company’s 75-year existence, Caton Hosey has been a mainstay in central Florida, offering both individual and business clients personalized service and distinctive insurance solutions. John Hosey joined the company in 1993, and Rex Caton took over the agency from his father Richard Caton in 1990.
After Rex and John bought the company from Richard, it was renamed as Caton-Hosey Insurance. Rex, Barbara, and John Hosey will continue to lead the Caton- Hosey team, which will continue to work out of their office in Port Orange, Florida.
