Following sanctions, a Syrian insurance company denies any connections to Iran.
Two days after being placed on the European Union’s (EU) blacklist, Al-Aqeelah Insurance Company has denied creating a joint venture with an Iranian company.
The Al-Aqeelah company declared in a statement released on January 24 that it would appeal the European Union ruling, calling it “unjust.”
