By January 16, 2024, at 11:59 p.m., the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii invites uninsured residents of Hawaii who do not meet Medicaid eligibility requirements to sign up for federal marketplace insurance.
The Legal Aid Society of Hawaii is prepared to assist customers with their health insurance enrollment and would like to remind them of the following five points:
Marketplace Open Enrollment closes at 11:59 p.m. on January 16, 2024. In order for consumers to enroll in a 2024 Marketplace plan after January 16, they must be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period.

A special enrollment period may be initiated by the following events: marriage, the birth of a child, a change in household composition, the loss of health insurance, or a reduction in income.
