Recently, rookie Brock Faber has been forced to play the same number of minutes as Zdeno Chara (2011) or Duncan Keith (2010). It’s only a minor issue that he has played for about half of the game since Spurgeon and Brodin were sidelined. Therefore, should the Wild try to find a player at a low cost to
not have that occurred? Perhaps just having someone replace Jon Merrill and Alex Goligoski would be sufficient. Zach Bogosian was already acquired by them, but perhaps they ought to go one step further.
